Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Confide (the “App”), operated by Aureon Intelligence Labs Pvt. Ltd. (“Aureon”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By downloading, accessing, or using Confide, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Confide. If you are under 18, you may use the App only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

2. The service

Confide is an AI companion application that lets you converse, reflect, and use related features such as Whisper and CanDo. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.

3. Your account

You sign in using Google or, for an existing email/password account, the website's email sign-in option. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity that occurs under it. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

4. Credits & purchases

Confide uses credits that are valid only within Confide, have no cash value and cannot be transferred. Website payments are processed by Razorpay. Older app versions and other platforms may use an app store billing system. Credits are added to the signed-in account after payment is verified. Refunded credits are removed in proportion to the amount refunded; credits already used are offset against future recharges. For payment errors or refund requests, contact retr000wl@gmail.com. Store purchases are also subject to the applicable store terms. Nothing in these terms limits rights under applicable law.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Confide to:

• break any law or infringe anyone’s rights;
• harass, abuse, threaten, or harm others;
• upload unlawful, hateful, or otherwise objectionable content;
• attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you submit. You grant Aureon a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, and use your content as needed to operate, provide, and improve the App — including processing by AI models to generate responses. You are responsible for the content you submit.

7. AI-generated content

Responses in Confide are generated by artificial intelligence and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. They are provided for general, non-professional purposes only and should not be relied upon as professional advice.

8. Intellectual property

The App, including its software, design, branding, and content (excluding your content), is owned by Aureon or its licensors and is protected by applicable laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute it without our permission.

9. Disclaimers

The App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aureon will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or relating to your use of the App.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Confide at any time if you violate these Terms or to protect the App and its users. You may stop using the App at any time, and may request account deletion as described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The courts of competent jurisdiction in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from these Terms.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of Confide after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
